At Bishop Auckland College your course is free (£20.00 administration fee applies) if you are:

  • Beginning your first full Level 2 qualification**

  • Beginning your first full Level 3 qualification (aged between 19-25)**

  • Aged over 16 or under 19 on 31st August 2010

  • Unemployed and in receipt of Employment Support Allowance (ESA), Job Seekers Allowance or Income Support*

  • An unwaged dependant of those listed above*

  • Claiming Working Tax Credit and Guaranteed Pension Credits* (subject to household income)

  • An asylum seeker**

  • Attending a Basic Skills Move On with English and Maths

  • Claiming Housing Benefit or Council Tax Benefit (excluding single person allowance)*

The College will give 50% remission on fees to any student where they or their household is in receipt of working tax credit/child tax credit. To qualify the student will be asked to provide valid & current evidence.

The above excludes Higher Education courses in partnership with the University of Sunderland.
