Election count at Bishop Auckland College
Over 200 people made their way to Bishop Auckland College, the venue for the election count 2010. Candidates from UKIP, Labour, Conservatives, BNP, LD & LLP were in attendance together with their agents, media and DCC staff.
Celebrations for Norchem Ltd
17 employees from Norchem Ltd, Ferryhill which distributes pharmaceutical goods to local pharmacies celebrated successfully completing an NVQ in customer service, sales, business administration, team leading, warehousing and distribution and management.
Sports students will soon be able to Slam Dunk at Bishop Auckland College
Bishop Auckland College’s Sports Department is in the process of establishing a Basketball Academy beginning September 2010. The College already operates a successful Football Academy whereby students study for a formal qualification (usually over 2 years) but will now be able to master in basketball instead of football.
